This site is a tribute to Samuel 'Dave' Heron.

He was known by all as Dave from a very young age even by his parents and siblings.

He was much loved and will always be remembered. Dave was a great man with a terrific sense of humour although not everyone will agree that his jokes were the best! He lit up a room with his bubbly personality and his smile and laugh were infectious.

Dave was a keen sportsman and played numerous sport over his lifetime. Cricket and football were his main sports but hockey, athletics and table-tennis were also keen sports. Dave spent many of his later years volunteering for local football in Derbyshire and held many roles for over 45 years.
